What makes Coach Blest different from other tennis coaches? What sets me apart is a combination of elite-level playing experience, intentional coaching, and a focus on developing the complete player. I grew up training alongside top-level competitors like Frances Tiafoe and Hailey Baptiste, became the 2013 National Champion in Mobile, Alabama, and was a D1 All-American player—experiences that taught me how to handle pressure, refine technique, and develop the mental toughness needed to compete at the highest levels.
Every session is purposeful. I focus on technique, strategy, footwork, situational awareness, and mental resilience, helping players build confidence and consistency under pressure. But my approach also incorporates creativity and artistry, drawing from my experience as a musician and producer. This perspective allows me to teach players not just how to play the game, but how to express themselves on the court, think creatively in high-pressure moments, and bring their own style to their performance.
Players who train with me gain more than just skills—they gain confidence, competitive edge, and the freedom to play their game with intention and flair.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy? To respect the time of all players and ensure everyone has the opportunity to train, lessons must be rescheduled or canceled at least 24 hours in advance. This gives other players a chance to book available slots and keeps the schedule running smoothly for everyone.
Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee, as this time is reserved exclusively for you. However, I understand that life is unpredictable—injuries, travel conflicts, or emergencies can happen. If something unexpected comes up, simply reach out as soon as possible. I handle these situations with flexibility on a case-by-case basis, because my goal is to support your growth while maintaining fairness and consistency for all players.
By planning ahead and communicating changes promptly, we can make sure your training remains effective, uninterrupted, and valuable every step of the way.
